The table's weight distribution is genius - no tipping when the top's fully extended with my hefty art books. Though I did stub my toe on the substantial base.

This table's lift-top action is so satisfying - it glides up like a luxury car door. I've caught guests playing with it repeatedly during parties.

Found the perfect use: the lift-top makes an amazing bar surface during parties. Spilled gin everywhere last weekend - the ash wood just laughed it off.

In winter, the black finish feels cool and sophisticated; in summer, the ash version brings breezy lightness. It's like having seasonal furniture without the storage hassle.

The walnut grain has this 3D effect that makes you want to run your hands over it constantly. My toddler certainly does - little fingerprints everywhere but they wipe off invisibly.
